22 The European Free Trade Association is currcntly secking, for its Sccrctariat in Brüssels, Information/Communication Officer (n° 16/2004) The EFTA Sccretariat provides services to the EFTA States. The Headquarters of the EFTA Sccrctariat in Gcneva supplies serviccs for policy devclopmcnt, negotiations and impiementation of free trade and co-opcration agreements with third countries. The Brüssels Sccrctariat provides support in the managc- ment of the European Economic Area (EEA) Agreement, in particular ongoing decision-making for the continuing evolution of the EEA Agreement. The Information/Communication Officer will be rcsponsible for the planning. management and impiementation of the Information Management Programme within the Sccrctariat. In addition, s/he will be rcsponsible fordevcloping and implementing an appropriatc communication strategy targeting internal and cxternal audienccs.
