Schnell verrinnt die Zeit, es
reiht sich Tag an Tag und
olôtzlich sind 50 Jahre
vorbei und ein Jubiläum
steht vor der Tür. Erst bei
solchen Gelegenheiten hält
man kurz still, legt eine
Pause ein und blickt zurück.
Diese Rückschau zeigt, wie
weit der durchschrittene
Weg ist und was sich alles
zeändert hat. Am Anfang
stand ein kleines, bescheide-
1es Büro mit einem Chef —
unserem verehrten Gründer
und väterlichen Oberhaupt,
Kommerzienrat Guido Fegeı
- und einem jungen
Mädchen. Heute sind wir
ein grosser Bürobetrieb, be-
völkert mit 65 Mitarbeite-
rinnen und Mitarbeitern.
Aus einer, für die heutige
Zeit antiken Schreibmaschi-
ne und einer einfachen
von Hand geführten Buch-
aaltung wurden im Laufe
der Zeit Dutzende moder-
ner Schreibmaschinen,
Schreibautomaten, Kopier-
serate, Buchungsmaschinen
und ein leistungsfähiger
Computer. Seinerzeit reich-
‘e ein Anschluss zur Be-
waltigung des Telefonver-
<ehrs, heute gibt es trotz
10 Aussenleitungen und
einer Zentrale mit 80 in-
‘ernen Anschlissen gele-

Le temps passe trop vite
pour que les jours puissent
se compter et ce sont tout
d’un coup 50 années d’exis.

Alors, considérant toute la
signification de ce jubilé,
aous nous arrêtons briève-
ment afin de contempler le
chemin parcouru.
Ce regard sur le passé nous
montre tout ce qui a été fait
st tout ce qui a changé. Au
début, le modeste petit bu-
reau où travaillaient une
secrétaire et un conseiller
commercial, M. Guido
reger, notre vénéré fonda-
teur et directeur de la mai-
son. Aujourd’hui, une
grande entreprise comptant
55 collaboratrices et colla-
oorateurs. L’antique machi
ne à écrire et les livres de
comptabilité tenus à la main
se sont transformés en des
dizaines de machines à bou
les, de systèmes de traite-
ment de texte, de photo-
copieurs et de machines
comptables auxquels s’ajou
te un puissant ordinateur.
Le bon vieux téléphone a
manivelle d’autrefois est
devenu un véritable central
qui, malgré ses 10 lignes ex-
:ernes et ses 80 numéros
internes n’arrive pas tou-
ours a donner le tour.

How quickly time passes!
One day follows the other
and all of a sudden 50 year‘
have gone by and a jubilee
is near at hand. These are
the moments that make us
pause and look back.
This retrospection shows us
how far we have gone, and
we see the changes that
have taken place. Our be-
ginning with the small, mo-
dest office, with our head
the honoured founder and
fatherly boss, Counsellor o
Commerce Guido Feger —
and with one single young
employee; and today — the
large office, where 65 em-
nloyees are at work. The
single typewriter, which to-
day is an antique, and the
simple manual bookkeeping
developed during the years
into dozens of modern type
writers, automatic type-
writers, copying equipment,
accounting machines and an
efficient computer. In those
days one connection for
handling all the telephone
calls has been sufficient,
today, in spite of 10 ex-
ternal lines and a telephone
exchange with 80 internal
connections, bottlenecks wil.

Il tempo trascorre rapida-
mente, i giorni si susseguonc
e gia si celebra un cinquan-
tenario. Solo in simili occa-
sioni si ferma un attimo per
guardare indietro.
Questo sguardo rettrospet-
tivo mostra come è lungo il
cammino fatto e tutto ciò
che ha cambiato. L’inizio,
con un piccolo ufficio mo-
desto, un capo — il nostro
onorato fondatore e capo
paterno Guido Feger, con-
sigliere di commercio —
e una giovane ragazza, e
oggi una grande impresa
amministrativa popolata da
65 collaboratrici e collabo-
ratori. Una sola macchina
da scrivere, oggi gia con-
siderata come antichità, ed
una contabilità semplicis-
sima tenuta a mano sono
state rimpiazzate, coll’andar
del tempo, da dozzine di
macchine da scrivere mo-
derne, dispositivi automatici
da scrivere, apparecchi
copiativi, macchine contabili
e un computer di grande
efficienza. A quell’epoca
bastava un collegamento pe:
le comunicazioni telefo-
niche, oggi abbiamo di
quando in quando delle
strette nonostante 10 linee
esterne e un centralino con
80 collegamenti interni.
